Our Story

Founded in Nottingham in 1990 ASH Door Furniture and Entrance Specialists Ltd has been supplying commercial and private customers with bespoke door furniture both in the UK and around the world. We are an established leader in the design and manufacture of both standard and bespoke pull-door handles, barriers, metalwork, and vision panels. From boutique shops, elegant hotel entrances, cafes or museums, our handles can be found in every corner of the UK, Europe and beyond.

Our Managing Director Steve Adams started his career at ASH as an apprentice in 2002. After completing his training he worked his way up to the role of production manager, onto operations director, and took ownership of the business in July 2022. Charlie Adams joined the business in 2022 as the Sales and Business Development Director. ASH is now run by this husband and wife duo who have a passion for producing quality British-made products as well as striving to create a sustainable future-proof business.

ASH is a family-run business with committed and hardworking craftspeople. Our talent and skills are at the heart of the products we produce. Every product is made to order, and this attention to detail runs throughout the sales process. Our commitment to producing high quality products is at the heart in what we believe in. Stainless steal handles have been part of our range for such a long time and in recent years we have adapted with customer specifications to bring a wider range of products to include popular powder coat colours, brass & bronze along with Timber handles.
